Love the location and price. Facilities were great and always kept nice and tidy simple brekkie but it did its job would stay again
The staff were quite rude at times
Across the street from a couple of stores and starbucks.
Personel was very unfriendly to say the least. They dont give you 5 minutes extra when checking out. They say free wireless but that reception was BAD throughout the place. N don't let the name fool you. Nowhere near the walk of fame. Bathroom was dirty.
Cheap and near hollywood
The location of this hotel is excellent!! If you are planning on visiting and relying on public transit then it's a perfect location. The metro station is on the same block/same street and there are lots of shopping, restaurants and spa type places within walking distance. The decor on the hotel is pretty unique too.
-There were ants infesting our room. We spoke with the front desk a few times and all that resutled in was our room smelling like chemicals. Luckily the ants were small and don't bite. We managed to ignore them. -When we checked in we were put in a room with one bed, then the clerk tried to tell us that's what we booked...we didn't, we asked for two. -There was mold around the tub and on the shower curtain, we spoke to the front desk about this, nothing was done.
Good location, clean and convenient hotel. Nice pool and parking on site if required.
Was about 25-30 minutes easy walking to start of Walk of Fame. A couple of restaurants (thai) and supermarkets around the corners of motel. Room was very good and clean. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull to us. Around the corner there is a metro-station (subway). Comes in very handy to get to Universal Studios
good position to hollywood.
Good value for money. Free parking. Easy to find. Clean and comfortable.
Almost 2 miles to Walk of fame. Tight space for breakfast. Breakfast could be richer.
What I liked best during my stay at the Days Inn is the location of the hotel the bedroom was nice and clean and I just had overall a great experience staying there.
The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that there is no air conditioner in the rooms. It was not a problem because it's fall and its chilly outside but during the summer its necessary.
It was pretty close to everything.
The employees and the lack of attention they pay to the customers. There was no toilet paper and they didnt stock it. and they didnt pay attention when we said we wanted no service at the moment and ended up getting woken up which i did not like what so ever.
The room was relatively large and the swimming pool was nice. The walk of fame was a 30 to 40 minute walk from the hotel.
The staff at the reception were rude especially one specific male who would completely ignore us when we would ask questions in regards to tours and locations near by. He also told us to leave the foyer area as he needed to make some important phone calls. Also the other aspect that we did not like about the hotel relates to luggage storage - they allowed luggage to be left at the hotel however refused to give receipts as proof of bags left for storage.
The area of the hotel is very dangerous, actually the most dangerous place in holywood..newer walk after 8pm at the outside..free breakfast is very bad and poor.also the plsce of the hotel is too far for attractions, you have to use subway always..wireless internet dosent work well in the rooms, you always have to go lobby..there is a starbucks cross the hotel and you can use free internet there..subway is too close to hotel..we make reservation for 3day and stayed only 1 night..but really very unsafe and dangerous area,be careful if you decide...
The trade-off Location vs Price.
Internet has failed several times during 4 days / 3 nights.
I expected to find hotel, but it has appeared, that it is motel
Days Inn is located a short walk to the hot spots of Hollywood Blvd. It also is convienantly located across the road from a supermarket. The pool was great to relax by & there was also a dinner close by for breakfast & lunch.
